ABOUT ME

She: Indecisive, clumsy, love great music, and people who let me see different bits of their universe.

Good conversations are my lifeblood. Sometimes I ask too many questions, but I try to make them good ones. I'm more likely to jump first and then listen to directions.

He: A geek, and a sociable one at that. Enjoys food, music, and travel, but also sorting a deck of playing cards in the right order.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We travel a lot, surf a lot, and love meeting people and showing them around the city that we're living in, even when we cannot host.

Right now, we've just moved to Shenzhen, China, and looking to connect with the CS community here :)

We also absolutely love meeting other CSers wherever we travel. We don't do touristy things, and CSers are generally the best people to ask for when we want to discover the living underbelly of cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We actually found our NYC housemate through CS! We contacted him for a couch request, and somehow ended up becoming housemates :)

She: My traditional CS experience has also been absolutely amazing so far. I've hosted a Malaysian girl and shown several CSers around Karachi.

We've led or been part of CS meetups in Nice, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Singapore, Nepal and Pakistan. Between the two of us, we've also been hosted by awesome people in Copenhagen, Nepal, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, and New Orleans.

Música, películas y libros

She: I love films. In particular, I'm crazy about indie drama films, foreign surreal films and films about time travel. Some favorites are: Meduzot (Jellyfish), Back to the Future (parts 1 and 2), Mr Nobody, The Man From Earth, Into the Wild, Amelie, Network.

He: loves jazz and the blues. Favorites are: Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Stan Getz, Miles Davis. Huge fan of science fiction in books and films, particularly Firefly, Doctor Who and Warehouse 13. Comic book, manga and anime nerd. Also loves food :D

He:
Backpacked through South East Asia
Slept under the stars in Thailand and Cambodia without a map or a plan

Enseña, aprende, comparte

She: I can teach urdu or hindi (spoken)to anyone who's interested :) I'd love to improve my very rudimentary motorbike riding skills.

He: Loves practicing French with anyone who'd like to speak it, and loves to talk geek, IT and technology. Would love to learn about anything and everything to do with people's lives and their cultures - especially their take on food.
