About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Change the world through affective teaching!!!

ABOUT ME

Have enjoyed the last 6 years on Couchsurfing, and the 20+ years of actual surfing. I'm not able to log on much anymore, so stepping down from being the Belize ambassador is necessary. If you stay in Cayo, you'll probably run into me though. Godspeed to all!

PHILOSOPHY

I'll fight for Justice,
but I won't sermonize,
Good is Good, bad is bad,
and I never compromise!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Best of Cayo page!
Tours to see in Cayo - I highly recommend using Pacz tours, and staying far away from Mayawalk tours since some of our guests have had serious issues with them to the point of the embassy being notified!

I would recommend adding the Belize group, and asking if any other CS'ers will be in the area. Groups can sometimes get discounts on tours, and when renting cars, splitting the price makes that much cheaper than going to tour companies.

I promote Couchsurfing to all the cool people I meet, and do my best to embody the spirit of comaradarie that is the essence of Couchsurfing! I'll be an ambassador soon, and look forward to aiding the project even more.

For those interested in volunteering in Belize, Lan Sluder has a great webpage listing most of the opportunites at: http://www.belizefirst.com/indexvolunteer.html/ Here's another good one: http://www.volunteerlatinamerica.com/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hitchhiked around the states for a few years about a decade ago, and did a lot of couch surfing then. I thank all those that gave me a couch for the night! Now that I live in Paradise, and there are not many hosts here, it's now time to give back what I took...helping all those in need of a couch to crash on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedy and Action are about all I watch and read nowadays, and I read them all the time. (Horror might still be the most popular, but after seeing Nightmare on Elm Street 20 years ago, it's all the same boring fodder!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitched America, meeting all the good people within. Backpacked Europe! Cruised much of the world - Norweigan Cruise Line is the best!

Teach, Learn, Share

While I profess, I'll still admit that I'm just a student, and always will be, of human nature. And as Ghandi said: You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Montserrat, Morocco, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands, British, Virgin Islands, U.S.
