Met up with some people, ran into some couchsurfers in hostels and even surfed a few couches myself. I remember once I was planning to meet up with a couchsurfer and we coincidentally ended up sitting next to each other in the cyber café of the hostel we were staying in

Trekking the Inca Trail up to Macchu Picchu.
Swam with sharks in Fiji.
Lived in Kathmandu for 3 years.
