About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to have a good time....all the time

ABOUT ME

i like time off. i work to live, not live to work. winter is nice, i prefer it. chopping firewood and hauling water is fun for me. every day is a gift. i spend a majority of my time with dogs. once you've lived near the ocean, you can never look back. walking or biking is the best way to experience a landscape. i try to live as low impact of a lifestyle i possibly can: i live off-the-grid and try to consume as little as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

i am thankful every time i eat. i believe overpopulation is our biggest challenge, so i've decided not to have children. i am suspicious of republicans, overly religious people, any time i see a line of american flags and, especially, of people who don't like dogs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

offer my place to travelers, although apparently clam gulch is not much of a destination for people. but we've got beaches and dogs!! and quiet.

i enjoy meeting and interacting with new people wherever my travels take me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i got to see the northern lights atop a mountain in the alaska range, with 15 dogs, at 4 a.m., at minus 20 degrees with no one else around. that took my breath away

Teach, Learn, Share

i'd be glad to teach people how to open a beer bottle with whatever might be handy.
or show them the wonderful world of dog mushing (seasonal)
i'm trying to learn the guitar, so if you have some input or advice, i'd appreciate that
