Ryan has worked as a teacher and actor across several different countries and continues to explore the world and his potential, powered by his curiosity and love for learning. He enjoys high flung adventure as much as he does a quiet day with a book. He loves good conversation, good beer, and good times!

Born in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, Yukiko spent many years studying music and knows her way around an instrument or two. She has a pure heart that opens wide for animals of every stripe and absolutely loves eating rice.

I've done hotels, motels, hostels, camping, and even sleeping in the street before. All of them are awesome experiences but some of my favorite traveling has been had by meeting and staying with amazing people through CS! Although I am unable to host currently, I have done so in the past and love that as well.

Movies:

Both Ryan and Yukiko love watching movies. They generally watch scary movies with plenty of snacks but are both open to all kinds. Ryan especially likes interesting films that stand out for their quality regardless of the genre.

Books:

Ryan loves reading psychology, philosophy, as well as interesting novels and other nonfiction that capture his imagination.

We travel with a fairly decent camera so plenty of digitally captured moments should our hosts desire. Yukiko can cook Japanese food and Ryan is happy to buy beer and help with anything their hosts need.
