About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be what I want to be.

ABOUT ME

I am a 28 year old musician. I just moved to the city and have a great spot just a few blocks from downtown and right in the middle of a cool neighborhood....the Italian Market district. I have driven all of the US, about 10 countries in Western Europe, parts of Mexico and Canada, Israel, and some islands. I love strangers and travelers and if you see my profile and you need a place to stay, just say hi!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used CS in Nashville and New Orleans. I have hosted a few times while living in Kutztown, PA. Now that I am in the city, I would love to get more travelers. The more, the merrier.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been great. I still stay in touch with many people I have met through CS. I once sold my mattress for gas money to drive to New Orleans where I couchsurfed for my first time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen the 9th ward a week before Katrina and a month after, drove the country, drove thousands of miles in Mexico, drove to Nashville about 20 times, showered in countless bodies of water, spent a night with American Indian Movement members, drove almost all of Western Europe in 10 days. Also, as a musician, I have performed over 1000 shows in the past 4 years. I have gotten to work with/open for Ricky Skaggs, Robert Hunter of The Grateful Dead, Frog Holler, WEEN, Rusted Root, David Bromberg, and plenty of other great players along the way. Music is my true gift, besides up and leaving.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I have learned is that you cannot plan a good trip. You need to put yourself in awkward positions, places you've never been, around people you have never known. That is where you learn. It may not be the most fun when you are there, but it is what you will learn from the most and remember longest.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
