One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At one time, I was under the impression if ticket is marked OK by an airline, it would safe to assume that the travel would be hassle free. Once I went to Sao Paulo via Milan. While my visa for Brazil for one month, the transit visa for Milan was only for 8 days. Since the ticket was OK, I did not realize gravity of the situation. When I wanted to return after one month, the Air Alitalia refused to issue me boarding pass stating that I have not transit visa. The troubles started, I had to extend Brazilian visa, applied to Italian Embassy for extension of their visa but they asked for 15 days for checkup. I had to obtain a ticket to Dubai via Johannesburg, South Africa and raised hell on reaching Pakistan. However, only a small refund was given.
