About Me

CURRENT MISSION

tremble blind for stars and love ...

ABOUT ME

TV-series "Globe Trekker" and further the travelchannel awakened my passion for travelling. Beside that, in 2002 I wondered the first time, whether there would be any interesting things and places beside a life among folkfestivals and people drinking beer, who never leave their 12.000 citizens village. For me, travelling enlarges the horizons.Since the year 2005 I'm able to travel independent and I can tell you: I do love it!

PHILOSOPHY

You think you would be yourself - In fact you're the person who is influenced by all people you've met in your life (Xavier, "L'Auberge Espagnole")

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's difficult to participate cause I'm bloody 19 years old - the reason why I still live at home.
My family isn't that open to new cultures, maybe that is the reason why I'm. When I'll leave home towards Berlin or Hamburg you can be sure to get a place on my couch, but I'm afraid, now I can only invite you to a coffee in one of the nearest cities combined with a self-guided tour.Surely most interesting for you would be cities like Cologne or Duesseldorf, but I can also invite you to Mönchengladbach. It's most known by it's soccer-past, so we could go to a soccer-game and I would tell you the story about my granny rescueing Günter Netzer in World War II.

Interests

Maybe it's because I'm that young, but impressing me isn't that difficult - in fact, I'm totally curious about all things, as long as they don't have anything in common with the boring suburb I'm living in.
Most interesting for me beside travelling and exchanging cultural&linguistical experiences is surely the film. Also I really adore food from abroad, tought to me by the mentioned TV-series on travelchannel where Megan, Justine, Ian and Co. try every kind of food not giving a damn about whether it's tasty or not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- skipping school in january for taking a flight to Stockholm
- learning by chinese men how to pick up a peanut with chinese chopsticks is surely the most proud-bringing thing I know
- the parisian drink wodka-caramel tastes delicious
- to stand in the middle of a chinese firework can be on the one hand dangerous but also on the other hand exciting
- nobody in the world eats that charming like chinese people do
- it's a strange feeling when chinese people from thousands of km's away know your loser-footballclub
- having breakfast at "Hotel Les Blues" in Brussels on a round table with all hotel guests while being garded by palms and canaries
- snorkeling in the red sea is one of the most enjoying things i've done in my life
- playing footbag on the hills of Parc Güell in Barcelona
- spending a afternoon in the Champagneria at Barceloneta
- going to Spunk Bar/Copenhagen on a really weird afternoon

Teach, Learn, Share

Germans are supposed to be perfect organisers and pedantic.I could demonstrate you the opposite like getting lost in the Parisian metro-system, although it seems to be that easy.Ok - It's not a real advantage for you, but I'm sure to have other advantages.I'm able to balance a spoon on my nose and other things.Beside that, I naturally could help you with German homework, cooking, cleaning etc. ... Things I want to learn? I definetly want to better my language abilities, but the more, I do want to get new experiences and impressions from all over the world.
