ABOUT ME

I managed to hike the tallest peak in the Adirondack Mountains at age 13 and that trip started something. I always did as many road trips as I could fit in during high school and university and at 21, I studied abroad in Spain. That experience started my international travels and I never looked back. I did a three-year stint all over the South Pacific, Australia & New Zealand, Southeast Asia & South Korea and Japan and I haven't really stopped. Travel has shaped much of my adult life and affected me profoundly. I think I will always travel in some capacity in my life. Now I travel a lot for work, but unfortunately only in the US. My winters are reserved for international travel but slow travel is my thing now.

Anyway I can. I have a lot of travel knowledge for the places I have been so feel free to ask away. I've hosted when I've had a place like in LA and Puerto Rico, but I'm mostly out on the road.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-went to Burning Man 2013 alone and without a ticket and got in, had an incredible time!
-traveled to Alaska by bus, plane, ship and thumb
-have traveled to all 50 US states
-traversed all of the lower Canadian provinces on the Trans-Canadian Highway

-hitchhiked in:
Australia and New Zealand for a year
Mexico
US-incl. Hawaii and Alaska
Japan
Thailand
Brazil
Canada
Greece

-crossed the Atlantic Ocean by ship...twice!
-lived all over Asia and Europe, each for two years and counting
-had food poisoning 7! times on 5 different continents
