hey. some people call me belgium. im from antwerp, but a proud inhabitant of hungary since 2009. ive been in and out as i also worked on cruise ships for a bit. i've been "stuck" for about 2 years with a full time job and am finally ready to go on a little adventure again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've couchsurfed for 6 months, in canada, usa and australia.

once i stayed at a 1 bedroom flat with 21 people in Vancouver. 19 of them were couchsurfers! me and my girlfriend decided to sleep outside at the parking lot. when we woke up, homeless people were taking our empty bottles but not the change that was on the floor next to us!

this is not really a couchsurfing experience, but it sort of counts for one. when i was hitchiking from sydney to brisbane, some lovely divorced guy picked us up, and invited us to stay at his house. all of us had our private room.

so just to say that while you travel, you can have the best of times in total different situations. never have i had a bad experience!

movies: i prefer to not watch over-the-top comedy. i like sarcasm or "smart"-humor, not "oh fuck my balls"-humor. other then that, pretty much everything besides movies that are in/on/about spaceships.

books: my favourite writer is Chuck Paliniuk. i always have an "oh my ...."-moment reading his books. i also like Augusten Burroughs, George Orwell, ...

tv: the fall, homeland, american horror story, scandal, ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i worked on a cruise ship. ive been through the panama canal a couple times to many. and went whale watching in alaska.
