About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be a part of creating Art Farm

ABOUT ME

I am an explorer. I explore places, ideas, opportunities. I am fortunate and I recognize this, so I am thankful. I value my friends and realize that without them I wouldn't be who I am. I am a musician, seeking others to make music with. I like to build things and fix things. I like solving problems. I love to cook, and to eat delicious food. I like trying new things. I aspire to be the best human I can be. I like to Dance. I sail and in doing so have learned to be open to change, to prepare for the unexpected, to sleep soundly and wake up alert. I am continuing my lifelong journey of exploration and am working towards co-creating a center for sustainable living.

PHILOSOPHY

Your daily life is Your Temple
and your religion

Whenever You enter it
take with You your All

Take the plow and the forge
the mallet
and the lute

For in every revery
you cannot rise above your achievements
nor fall lower than Your failures

~Kahlil Gibran

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen molten rock run
rivers of orange and grey,
The ground rolling beneath my feet
ripples on a pond

Underwater worlds of such beauty and complexity
lit at night from the glow of Nocta Luca,
a fierce dynoflagelate~

Lightning Bolts
from the sky, spit from Tesla's coils
the arc of an electrode strike
melding two pieces into one

The spray of the spectral arches
down the falls of a Yosemite afternoon
Granitic scrapings and towers
the wake of retreating Ice Giants

The spin of the universe at morning's first light

I have seen glimpses of Wonder

Teach, Learn, Share

I travel with a ukeleli and would be glad to teach or just make music.
I can also teach juggling and a couple of magic/bar tricks.

I would love instruction in Yoga, Tai Chi, or any other pathway to healthy living.

Having taught environmental science for so long, I have gotten into the practice of collecting ecosystems. Major trees, native animals and wild edible and useful plants are what I am most interested in. If You could teach me this as I travel I would be very appreciative.
