About Me

CURRENT MISSION: Travel as much as you can while you have the energy!

If you are tired of travelling and need a good rest come over and you are sure to have it.
I only host 3 - 4 days a month, so if you happen to come on the days I am hosting you're most welcome.

I love cooking and will be happy if you can cook too so we can share the meal.

Note: please keep the place and yourself clean at all times.

I live in BANDAR TASIK PUTERI, RAWANG about 40 km to the North of Kuala Lumpur city - public transport (bus/train) will stop in Rawang and I will fetch you at the station.

ABOUT ME :
Grandma of 6 (3 girls and 3 boys).
Mother of 7 grown up children - 3 of them married.
Mother-in-law to 3 lovely ladies.
I am usually alone when I host - My children/grandchildren are not staying in the same house (where I host)

I talk a lot but I can be quiet too
I am always happy but there are times I feel down
I can be funny but doesn't mean I'm a clown
I always forgive but don't take me for granted
I laugh a lot but doesn't mean I don't cry

Traveling is my passion (that"s why I'm here).
Everybody is my friend (doesn't matter what age).
If you know how to respect the elderly I'll respect you more.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life without regrets......

"Do what makes you happy
Be with who makes you smile
Laugh as mush as you breathe
Love as long as you live"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My son couchsurfed in Europe with his wife and daughter and when they returned and told me about it (CS) I didn't join straight away, but after meeting their guests I realised its time I should be part of the hospitable community.

Hosting and getting to know the CS is wonderful and the thought of being hosted only add to the excitement. I never regretted joining CS as I've gained more knowledge here rather than from textbooks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the Great Wall, Pyramids, Angkor Wat, Taj Mahal, Petra, Dead Sea - they were awesome experience which made me wonder how our forefathers lived their lives.

Scenic flight to Mount Everest was breathtaking, just cannot be described in words.

Crossing the busiest street in the world (Shibuya, Japan)

Teach, Learn, Share

Respect everyone especially your guests/hosts. Follow the house rules and never ever offend the guests/hosts.
Having hosted all kinds of people from various parts of the world I've come to realize we are all equal apart from the colour, custom, culture, food, language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with guests:

1) Interesting CS stories/experience.
2) Local food - I can cook (We can go to market and share to buy the ingredients)
3) Pay my gas/petrol and lunch and I will show you around Kuala Lumpur city - I have hosted many and cant afford to spend a lot on guests anymore.
