I'm a hedonist, I like to do what I like. I love meeting people, partying, dancing, drinking, playing stupid games, creating false identities and learning. I know what I want to do in life and am working on getting there while living along the way. Watching movies, listening to (and singing along with) music and reading great books are my favorite solo activities along with walking while contemplating.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have attended a lot of the weekly meetings in Montreal, a CS beach party and have met for "coffee or a drink" and so far I LOVE IT!!!! Everyone I've met has some amazing story to tell and is extremely friendly and openminded.
Since this point, I have been surfing through europe for a few months. There were a few instances where I wasn't able to find a host before arriving in a city, but then I went to a meetup and not only found hosts, but made great friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed before I knew of the website's existence. I've slept on many floors, couches, shared futons and beds with a lot of people (fit 5 people on a futon, nice). Many strange people have grazed my beds, couches and floors (my favorite was a metal guy sleeping on my floor with his head under the coffee table). I've been shown amazing times by people in cities I've visited and do my best to do the same for others. I love my city and I love to show it to people! Oh, and I've been going to the weekly meetings, so much fun! There are some cool cats that show up

My first real experience was oktoberfest, the CSers were a bunch of crazy zany fun ready made friends and drinking buddies
I have also attended the helsinki nordic ambassador meet-up and had an amazing time filled with saunas,scavengerhunts, baltic sea swimming in december and of course parties

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favorite sorts of music are old punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, rock and roll, bluegrass, Ukranian polkas, honky tonk, reggae, funk and anythnig else that gets my shoulders a bopppin'. My favorite books are zany ones like anything by Chuck Palahniuk and Irvine Welsh but I'm also a nerd and love anything psych related. Big Lebowsky is my all time favorite, but I like a lot of movies

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I bungee jumped in Interlaken, in the mountains, above a lake, in the snow. It was one of the most incredible experiences, I was shocked by the serenity of being surrounded by nothing...

I also got a man I just met to say "I could F***ing kill you" after a few short hours of knowing me. It was a pretty amazing thing, although he made it lame by continuing with "but I could also love you". Oh drunk Irish men in Berlin...

I once hiked up a mountain at 5 in the morning to watch the sunrise over the rockies.....

I also once saw a lightning storm come from far away and watched it come closer, over the mountains until our building was hit....

one of the most amazing things I've done was moving out west by myself at 18, being shy and not knowing anyone. I slowly pushed myself out of it and now am much more outgoing and have a lot more fun

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

English, French, enthusiasm, view on psychology and mental health. I also can teach anyone to waltz and can show you how to do bavarian folk dancing and traditional german drinking songs even though most of the words are probably wrong, but they sound right, fun times.
