ABOUT ME

I've been asked "whats your story" too many times... here's the short-short version... I worked in the "Computer Industry" for 12-13 years once I got tired of being a societal robot... I ventured out to find some inspiration. I roamed around India for 3 years saw a lot of things both good and bad, met a lot of people, from all walks of life.
Though I found plenty of inspiration, I couldn't find a space to express... so I decided to make some of my own and that's what I am dedicated to now.
Other than that ... there is not much to the story...

PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is simple ... live and let live. If that doesn't fit your bill ... find a cave and try to survive.

Also ... once you start exploring Quantum theory ... all philosophy may or may-not exist ... just like you and me.

ABOUT MY PLACE

****** PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST*****

My place is a on the mountain opposite to Manali & Old Manali (roughly 3.5 Kilometers)... More or less on a cliff.... it is not in old manali or manali but in the next village on the leh Manali Highway ... close to a village called Vashisht.
It's a place for artists / yogis/ writers / meditators and society's outcasts. I have one room dedicated to Couchsurfing. And 1 other rooms for clients / paying customers. It's more or less like a community place... I don't have a working staff so whoever stays; contributes in cooking cleaning and general upkeep.

Its away from everything... So no restaurants and shops nearby. There is a 20 min climb and you will need good shoes..

Nearest village is vashishth... That's where you would need to come to on order to get here.

If the Cs room is available... I'll let you know... If not then also I'll let you know. But before that I need to know exactly what dates you will be coming... tentative is okay but when your plans change every other day ... don't bother me. Be sure of yourself and keep clear communication.... otherwise you may be blocking a room that could have been used by someone in need.

Also there is an option for paid rooms... different times different prices. Please ask ... (varies from 200 per person to 400 per person per day).

Please remember, this place is special ... but is not suitable for 1 night stay before going to LEH or DELHI or one or two days of skiing...
If you just need a place to put your bags and will be gone all day and show up just to sleep and take a dump .... please don't bother. This place is too far for anything like that. I prefer people who contribute.

There is no address for this place nor directions... I will need to come and pick you up... I am not into "entertaining" people anymore ... I enjoy my quite and peaceful life... that's why I moved here from the city, unless you appreciate and know how to maintain "peace and quite"... please don't bother...

However, if you are the type of person who enjoys nature, can keep things clean, likes home food, likes cooking, a musician/artist/yogi/spiritual practitioner or wants to get into these practices .... then don't hesitate :-) ... also if you really can ... then please consider a paid option or anything that you can do to build up this place .... I dont believe in "free things" I believe in "fair exchange" .

I am an eccentric person, lost in my thoughts that border insanity (at times). However, in my justification... Ive been driven to be like this... if you understand what kind of a person might be living at the edge of a mountain... then you may send a request.

Matrix, Saving Pvt Ryan, Braveheart, Rang De Basanti, black cat white cat... are some of my favorite movies. Anything that sounds good is what I like to listen to, I dont have a peculiar taste for music.
Books, anything educational and non fiction ... if its fiction ... its got to be sci-fi and really really worth reading.

Went to Leh, hired an Enfield bullet went to pangong lake through one of the highest mountain passes in the world. It was nothing short of a trip to the moon.
