ABOUT ME

My longer trips were to Thailand (3 months), Brazil (total of 7 months on different trips) and Mexico (1 month).

In 2010 I went to South Africa to work at the FIFA World Cup for 2 months and went travelling to Mozambique for a while afterwards.

With my family while growing up, ever since from my childhood days on we basically went to almost all of the countries on the European Continent by car and camping tent!

Among my favorite spots ever are the Canary Islands! After having lived in Tenerife for a while in 2004, las Islas Canarias have become like a 2nd home to me..

I am a open minded person and love to meet open minded people from everywhere and have a good time

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing couches and hosting people or showing travellers around, taking them along to a party or if there is just no time or nerves for a live encounter, just by giving advice for good places to visit

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a number of great Couchsurfers in Berlin and met some very cool people throuch CS in different parts of the world

Last year in Mozambique, after a long trip, almost fading out on heavy stomach sickness I was particular thankful to be taken in by an incredibly welcoming Couchsurfer in Maputo (thanks again Mike Weiss!! youre the incorporation of the CS spirit)

I like many different types of music - I love brazilian music (everything from MPB, over Samba to Axé, from Samba Rock to Forró...).

Reggae has also always been my favorites (everything from rocksteady/ska to dancehall).

Soul, Funk (also the carioca version every once in a while)...
