Marillion is my favorite band!

My main travels have to do with seeing my favorite bands live. Marillion! and Rush! Seen them 34 times live.

I've seen Marillion in Amsterdam, Stuttgart, Munich, Barcelona, Los Angeles, San Diego, Mexicali and Mexico City.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed 3 couches since I registered in feb 07, Stuttgart and Munich Germany then NYC.

We hosted a Italian/Spanish couple, their on their way to Patagonia!! Hola Marzia Edmundo!

I also got the pleasure of returning the favor to one of my hosts from Munich, Tobi, he stayed with me for 3 nights.

Hosted another couple traveling through Mexico from Leipzig, Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experiance was staying with CS'rs in Stuttgart Germany, what a great experiance I will never forget, very cool bunch of guys, I stayed with them for 2 nights, first day I got there they had plans to go to a party and they took me with them, I can tell you only one thing, those guys can drink!!!
After the party we went to some clubs downtown Stuttgart. Just a unique experiance I would have never had if it wasn't for Matthias, Nico and Couchsurfing!!!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have gotten the chance to meet in person the members of one of my favorite bands, Marillion (h, Steve, Pete, Mark and Ian) several times. In fact I got to drive around the lead singer Steve Hogarth; I drove him around the state!!! From Rosarito on a somewhat sunny day, then back to Tijuana on a cloudy day, then drove to Mexicali crossing through the Rumorosa mountains where it was snowing (Steve called it a sprinkle), then to Mexicali where the climate was wet and windy, all 4 sesons packed in to one day!!

It's another amazing thing to me Ok, I once raced in the SCORE Baja 1000 off-road race on a VW class 5 buggy. This is the biggest and most demanding off road race in Mexico and probably all of America. This was in 1988.
