ABOUT ME

I had a long "about me" I wrote many years ago. I deleted it, it sounded too "look at me!" I guess you could call me self-conscious.

"Self-conscious, but the opposite of egocentric." Yes, that sounds about right!

PHILOSOPHY
"Life's not about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself!"

...but I do think it's also a little bit about finding yourself, you know?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing is amazing, it's definitely a way of life, once you go CS you can never go back. Both hosting and being hosted have been enlightening experiences to no end, showing me what people are really capable of.

Music: I have a preference for Rock/Metal and a soft spot for Prog (Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Yes, Riverside, King Crimson etc.) I will listen to many many different genres as well: world music (Uakti, Trio Joubran), electronic (Justice, The Flashbulb), dubstep (Pendulum), soundtracks etc, and I tend to enjoy music that defies or blends genres. The popularity of a song or tune does not play a role in my choices or tastes.
