About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, meet new people, and have a good time while doing it...

ABOUT ME

Time is short, the world is vast, and I like to explore. I realized the other day that that's the main reason I love journalism: exploration. More specifically, Ihave gotten to 1) learn, 2) meet people and 3) express myself. I read up on some topic, have a chat with some person, and find creative ways to describe some concept. Sounds simple, but that's really all I need. Oh, and free concert tickets from publicists. :)

Oh but also, I'm about to finish my master's degree in mental health counseling, and just wrote a book about the future of AI for MIT. If any of these topics interest you, let's chat!

I'm very much a "yes" person and try to surround myself with similarly-minded folks. There's not much I won't try - from playing trampoline dodgeball, to tickling the ivories at Madrid jazz clubs, to biking down a spiraling 30-story Boston parking garage ramp in a "V for Vendetta" mask on Dia de los Muertos. These things have all happened.

I am an active person: I love to bike, hike, meditate, perform/soak in music, play sports (frisbee, tennis, basketball), and generally enjoy life on this crazy little sphere we live on. I enjoy meeting new friends, and hanging out with old ones. I'll probably like you. I hope you'll like me! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted about a dozen or so times, surfed 20+ times, and been to Boston meetups on-and-off since September 2008.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love meeting people from all over the world, antry my best to acquaint Boston visitors with the area. I'm also good friends with some active hosts and am always eager to hang out with their surfers and show them the city. I've also really enjoyed going to CS meet-ups...
