ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous and fun loving girl from Australia. I've spent 6 months in Mexico learning the language, culture and history. And I loved it all! I also worked at a journalist in Colombia for 2 months.
I've just finished studying journalism and hope that it will be a job that allows me to keep travelling and learning about the world.
I lived and studied in Spain in 2012 and then worked at the London Olympics. It was a great experience.
I spent a year in Paris as a juene fille au pair in 2007, an amazing year!

I love to learn new languages and cultures and meet great people with interesting stories.
I feel so sorry for the people in the world who can't afford to travel or are unable to, but i feel more sorry for the ones that can but dont get off their lazy asses and experience all the world has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first ever couch surfing experience in Roma with Alex- the most amazing guy ever! Since then I've surfed in France, Spain, Portugal and Mexico.
I've hosted many people in my home in Melbourne, and met many more about town.
I am hoping to host more people when they ask :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've surfed in 9 houses in 5 countries and hosted 8 people in Melbourne, but numbers mean nothing- it's about the huge number of amazing people I've met somehow through CS.

Interests

Travel- I love to be in a place that everything looks, sounds and tastes different. I'm a huge modern art fan especially Rauschenberg, Hockney, Picasso and Miro. The beach, reading, sport- I played soccer for 10 years, as well as running, water skiing and wakeboarding.
I love to cook and learn new recipes.
I love extreme sports, white water rafting, surfing and scuba diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am amazed to have lived in Paris at the age of 18.

Go to Australia if you have the chance. And if you do go to the Whitsundays. The view of Whitehaven beach is breathtaking. And in Paris you must see the view from Sacre Coeur and Pompidou centre at night..
