HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heard about this on Nite Line (TV) and thought this is probably one of the coolest things since the 60's. Just spent 48 days in Kazakhstan 2004/2005, first time out of the US and found that basically we are all the same.....I have a greater appreciation of other countries now, and would love to share the same hospitality with others from other nations. Please be aware we are non-smokers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Took a 4000 mile trip from Missouri (about 1600 miles in actuality), and spent a LOT of time on couches across the country, National Forest camp grounds etc. Always did blaze my own trail!!

Interests

I believe that when you narrow down your interests, it makes one a pretty dull person. Others will look at the list and say, oh, they like this or that.....and THEN we may well loose out on meeting another person that has other interests that I may have never thought of. Example: I met someone that was a
spelunker ......I went a couple of times and loved it.....I was happy for the experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...........let's see which year??? We just returned from Tallinn, Estonia. Unbelieveable place!! Old town looks like a movie set.....winding, cobble stone streets, spires, flowers, and hand made goods......BEAUTIFUL, and breath taking!!
