Please know that I almost NEVER host Couchsurfers without references. I also like to see a completed profile, pics, and a general understanding of the mission of Couchsurfing. Please don't ask for me to host you while you look for housing in St. Louis. Requesting to be hosted for weeks at a time is probably outside the scope of Couchsurfing. ABOUT ME

I'm Steve and I recently moved to St. Louis. Working a lot but trying to find the time to explore the city and surrounding areas.

Recent trips taken to Toronto, Montreal, S. Korea, Malaysia, and Colombia.

I read a lot, enjoy listening to music, seeing good films, attending concerts, visiting art galleries and museums, trying new restaurants, cooking grand meals at home, and just generally love to learn and try my best to remain open to new experience.

I am a quiet, respectful, non-smoker.

Travel, of course, but I also enjoy film, photography, music, reading...yeah, I have lots of books...giving away my books...obscure and offbeat magazines, museums, visiting funky cafes and coffeeshops, farmer's markets, promoting peace, eating healthy, deep ecology, city parks, biking, long walks after dinner, nighttime walks on the beach, hot springs, travel, cooking, the excitement of new friendships, the joy of old friends, conversations that last into the night, dreams, random acts of kindness, watching people be kind to each other, which, unfortunately, I don't see often enough...
