ABOUT ME

what could I say? very very and truly open minded...I like to see how people live in their countries and just get the best of it...I have no pre-concieved ideas on anything which allows me to discover new things everyday...I would say I'm not 100%french but citizen of the world...my passport is french, I like american movies, arabic music, indian food, chinese culture, japanese philosophy and so...keep the best of everythings...interested by every foreign people and culture...

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I finally decide to put some notes on my past and current experiences with couchsurfing to select the requests:

Yes I have been using this website extensively for the same reasons than a lot of people who are contacting me: great way to meet new people, source of tips for low budget traveler and on top of that, free accommodation! Thanks to CS, I have met some of my closest friends until now so I still value CS very much BUT for all requests, please read the following. These are guidelines based on experience and if you find it here, its because I got already these requests:

- I don't host more than 2 people and no animal or family. My flat is not very big.
- I'm not a company so not offering any job to you or your relatives.
- I cannot host for 6 months (2 3 nights being the max).
- I usually don't host incomplete profile created 5 min ago.
- If you lost your wallet and have debts (which can happen to me as well). I might not be the solution.
- I'm not offering free accommodation in exchange or cleaning up the house or anything else.
- If you look for a very general info, google it, don't ask me how much does the entrance of a free museum cost.
- If you are french, better to write to me in french, it shows that you read my profile at least...
- Please check that you are requesting for a host in Singapore rather than copy/paste the same request for the last 6 months.
- Don't feel obliged to tell me you can cook/Sing/dance or share your stories...I believe really much into offering a place without getting anything in exchange. Somebody already "paid"for it by being nice to me when I was hosted. Of course, we will share but please don't make any plan, just go with the flow...
- If you home and want to have dinner with me, you are more than welcome, I cook 99% of the time so when I cook for 1 there is enough for 2 (or 3). That's part of the package. ;-)
- I travel quite a lot for my work so not often at home and then not really into showing you and accompany you for visits but again it goes with the flow and never say never!
- I don't drink alcohol or very few (except wine but rarely). Don't tell me then that you plan to party with me and get back home F**d up.
- I consider very much myself as a 'Hobo". I guess it's just that I found my place in this world (for now!!). I have been very sensitive previously into "vagabond" lifestyle but telling me you like to sleep outside and you OK to sleep on the cold tiles of the floor, won't attract me too much. You desserve a confortable place and everything will be done to let you feel at ease and confortable.
-I prefer to have clear requests with dates rather than message telling me you dont know yet when you will arrive. Of course I can be flexible but as I'm quite busy with my work, I prefer to plan...
- If you don't speak English, this is fine, I'm also not a native speaker but dont send me 10 messages with only "Hi" as a request...

Well, please don't get me wrong, I might look like grumpy but I'm not! happy to host but I just would like to prioritize "quality" over "Quantity"...

I like american movies and as I said above many musics from all around the world...in fact i just changed few years ago I moved from 100% hip hop to 50% hip hop and 50% reggae and world music...
