About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding new settings for the character me and the story of life.
ABOUT ME
I adore conversation, but I think it's generally on the way out as an acceptable, or at least popular, pasttime in the US. Politics, history, culture, theology and philosophy are among my favorites, but I enjoy talking about less heady subjects, like the weather or local bus schedual, too.
I love to have a lot of fun; good times with good people and such. Parties are almost always great, but so are comfortable chairs.
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy, every place and every time. Remember, reality is in the eyes of the beholder and the Buddah is, indeed, 5lbs. of flax
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not sure yet. I've surely been couchsurfing and even hosting on occation for years, but I'm new to the site and the community. I'll figure something out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been mostly couchsurfing for a while, I saw a lot of N. America like that. I even took a 6 month lease once in the sonoran desert. I was only there for a little more then 3, but it's the closest I've come to not couchsurfing in a long time(I didn't just cut out though).
I've made wonderful friends across the US and gained a true wealth of experiences.
Interests
Good food, good drink, good music ...of any and all types. But most of all good people
The culinary arts are a favorite of mine, I love to cook and eat. I always enjoy making a meal for my hosts or guests and learning to cook with new ingredients and methods is always a blast.

Music, Movies, and Books
I truly lack the words with which to express the gravity of my recomendation of The Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. So I won't even try
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One night a friend took me to a place where you could camp with a fire and all in Lincoln park, in San Francisco. It wasn't leagal of course, but we were safe and it's part of land's end that's nobody patrols, ever. We stayed up very late and were at least a bit hung over in the morning when the Blue Angels buzzed the cliff we were sleeping on. I hope to never again be woken up by sonic booms. The first one scared me right out of my sleeping bag, the next four just did wonders for my headache.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn to cook new things and in new ways. Don't mind sharing my recipies and techniques either. I'm good with camping and outdoors stuff if anyone would like to learn about that I can teach you to do it like the boy scouts, then teach you why half that stuff is crap and the other half is utterly invaluable. I think I would like to learn to use hiking boots. I know why they're good, but unless there's more than 3 inches of snow on the ground I can't seem to shod myself more heavily than sandals
