About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn as much as I can and enjoy the journey as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

Of course we all start by saying we love to travel. I love food and wine, history, people, the outdoors. I love to meet people; there´s always something new to learn from everyone. I'm the type of person who's pretty relaxed and content to pass a night with just a few friends at home, but if I go out, its to a small pub or bar with good live music. I put it off for awhile, but I'm actually really excited to be a student again.

PHILOSOPHY

"Love" pretty much sums it up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By making my couch, my kitchen, and my friendship available. I was a city ambassador for awhile but I hung up my hat because I felt I couldn't give as much time as I would have liked to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Porto, Lisbon, Cascais, Barcelona, and Rome, Halifax and good ol' Regina. Loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest experiences of my life was living on a Marae in New Zealand for three months and attending a "tangi"- a Maori funeral. I know that sounds strange, but we´ll talk about it face to face and I´ll tell you why it was so incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make Vietnamese spring rolls and how to two step! I like learning how to cook new dishes, so come share your recipes. What I really need is a CS who knows how to make crepes cause I just can't get mine to turn out nicely (Thanks to Jacques I can now find a new challenge. How about croissants from scratch?). I also want to learn another language. You might have to stay awhile for that one. And what I like to share... ideas.
