Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Give part of myself thru stories, laughter and experience whilst I am travelling and when I get home return the favours and offer my couch! I love to cook and am happy to help out with the house. I love to swap travel stories and share my knowledge about things that I have experienced or learnt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My house has always been open to friends, friends of friends and interesting peoples I encounter. A couple of yrs ago it got dubbed 'Hotel Mel'! Whilst travelling, I have enjoyed the hospitality of many friends, couchsurfers and strangers. I hope that I may share this hospitality as best I can.

My music preferences change with my mood. I need variety but love the funk! Jazz, Acid Jazz, Latino, World, Lounge, HipHop, Blues, bad '80s - all do it for me. The Cat Empire, Manu Chao, Quique Neira, Gotan Project, Groove Armada, Curtis Mayfield, The Police, Stevie Wonder, India Arie, Arrested Development, Spearhead, Tracey Chapman r all good.
