About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play with arts and performance, do our part to inspire change, share joy and spread peace.

ABOUT ME

We love our lives, constantly amazing by the incredible people we know, the places we go and the work we do. We spend our time involved in things we are passionate about- arts and community, with good food, drinks and company. We like to dance and play, hike and imagine, create, learn. We like to hear about your ideas, about current issues, cultural perspectives, personal convictions.

PHILOSOPHY

The more informed you are, they less aggressive and angry you are. ( Adopted from N Mandela)

Whats inside flows out. therefore focus on inner transformation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every chance we get, we talk up the CS community. I guess you can call us a CS Evangelist. In addition to hosting, traveling via CS networks and being as active as possible in group discussions, I go out in the community to meet people that are driving through the country and have not ever heard about CS. I love hearing people express joy and awe when I tell them about CS. Some show concern about the safety of the community, but over all most are thrilled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Positive all around! I host as much as I can and surf as much as I can. Since, 2006 ( when I found about CS), instead of asking "which place do I want to visit?", I ask "who do I want to meet?" and use CS to help me define my travels. I really value emergency CS sub-groups and as a result am part of the one from my city. We have been living abroad for a while, wo we haven't been able to host, but enjoy the opportunity to be hosted!!

Interests

The great outdoors, rivers, great people, making great memories of this life, climbing, wed design, soccer, drinking really good beer, dancing until I get a side ache, knowing people long enough to then be trusted enough to participate in their personal rituals, collecting post cards, smiling, learning a song really well, listening to people's adventures ...
Fresh fruit.

Meeting people.
