Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I kind of slipped into CS for a gathering in London where I lived that moment. Though I ended at a CS-members couch some nights because I was too lazy to get home, it was more like staying at a friends.
Unfortunately, I did not host too much so far and surfed only for a couple of nights while searching for a new flat.

Recently started some Mountainbiking, am looking for the nicest trails around Marburg.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: the latest popcorn-crap as well as the great 70s thrillers, weired comedys and sometimes some independent stuff and really, really bad retro-style B-movies.
Music: I prefer the rock stuff, starting in the great 60s. I like bands leaving the guitar, base, drums-scheme. Like Firewater, the Levellers, Gogol Bordello,...
Books: recently read First Blood (RamboI) - most surprising: the book is great! Chuck Palahniuk is good, Pratchett, Lord of the Rings and stuff.

I am interested in the kitchens of the world. Eating is a big part about every culture. I love eating and cooking and I guess I'm not too bad at it. But it's a bit ashamed how little german cooking I know...
