ABOUT ME

Born in the UK, lived there for 18 years until I left. Skipped around for a few years living, studying and working. Have spent quite a lot of time on the road. I've lived in Canada, Belgium, Israel, USA and visited other countries in between.

Now I'm living back in the UK again on the south coast in Brighton/ Hove, East Sussex. Crazy to be back in the place I started. Good to be still.

Right now I'm on a little travel excursion in between work - just for kicks.

I love to cook particularly for friends and guests. I love to eat. Food is politics, community and at the centre of many parts of my life. Hosting guests is a large part of my life and one more guest at our table is always a pleasure.

Biking, hmmm, another passion, I love the freedom of the rocky paths less trodden just me and my (pedal) bike. Generally love the escape of outdoors and hiking, camping, cooking on open fire or outside are all enormous pleasures of mine.

I am a teacher of Judaism, philosophy and Jewish spirituality - a big chunk of who I am - but fear not my politics and religion is not bigoted or evangelist. I live in the world as a feminist, open to honesty, liberation and critique from all avenues. I dream and strive for equality for all irrespective of your sexuality, gender identity, race or religion. Afford me the same tolerance and openness and we'll be grande.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a bunch of people now, met many through CS. Really enjoy bringing people in and showing them a glimpse of my life and seeing yours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting is a lot of fun and a real pleasure in my life.

One of the best, I guess, was hosting two dudes, Mario and James who I met a work in Brussels for six weeks until they found an apartment. I lived in a tiny apartment with just enough floor space in the lounge kitchen for their bed. It was a crazy month and a bit of jumping over each other and living under each others feet. We became good friends.
