ABOUT ME

im a second year university student in jerusalem. i study far east studies, meaning i study chinese n of chinese culture, and with that i combine international relations. im originally from tel aviv n even spent one year in the uni there, but 9 months ago i fulfilled a long time dream to move n live in jerusalem. i have tow very big passions in life, these tow things are also values i live by and so it will b easy to describe myself through them. these 2 things are : traveling and trance. traveling : as i had an almost 2 years travel mostly in asia and europe it helped shaped allot of who i am today. im open minded n try to help out others as we r all travelers of the world. politeness is very important for me and i see it as a high value that indicates an intelligent character. i love to experience the unknown n always keen of learning from different ppl as i believe every person u meet can teach u something. also, as a traveler meeting different ppl i learned what type of ppl i enjoy being with the most. that encouraged me to adopt a point of view that ppl i recognize kindness in their heart i try to keep close and ppl that i recognized r controlled by ego i try to stay away. also i try to settle with what i get with no expectations n always appreciate what i have. appreciation is one of THE HIGHEST VALUES!.
trance: trance is not only a type of music , its a way of life , its a tribe, n for me its also a pure form of energy that give u so so much ( if u know how to listen to it ! but thats a long theory i dont mind explaining, although not now :). through this concept of trance i except the weird n the different n in a way symbolize it. i love to dance n what i do from morning till night just before i close my eyes is listen to these sounds that give me air, smiles, n so much LOVE. i listen to many types of music n am very open to all sounds , also in trance there r many styles that i love but my true love that is above all is- GoA trance , which is for me very different from all kind of trance styles. through this concept i also, understandably love parties n festivals . i try to go to as many as i can for the famous artists that play n for the crowd of ppl that will usually b colorful n friendly. for me the light in the end of every hard thing is the dance floor where i am truly free. this summer im fulfilling another dream that seemed far from happening but with a higher power intervention it is finally happening. this summer for the forth time in a row i will travel directly to the european trance festival scene. im going to OzOrA Fest in hungary. n its gonna b insane for sure..cant wait.. just me n the music ...to b FREE !

PHILOSOPHY

here r some things i strongly believe in:
most important- appreciate what u have !
also, i believe that in order to b true to yourself n others n to eventually achieve freedom (free in every way u wanna look at it) one should try to overcome his ego. ego is cancer n i try to fight it n everlasting war. i always try to keep close to me people that i feel there is no ego in them n between us. from the other hand i try to stay away from ppl that are controlled by ego. i always follow my instincts .
i try to always go out of the mainstream.
i beleive that if u will b a good person it will come back to you .
every thing u do always affects u in some way (what goes around definitely comes around).
be aware of yourself n your environment.
also, politeness is very important to me.
experience things before you exclude them. i always keen on trying new stuff, n giving even the craziest things a chance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

this project is no stranger to me. i know about it for quite a while and after couch surfing 3 months in europe, hosting n never mind meeting n getting together with so many different people from different cultures through the project i definitely feel a part of the community. i admire the project.
its now already a custom that with every friend or new person i talk to i always mention CS. although getting more n more big here in israel still many ppl are unaware of it n opening there eyes is something i feel obliged, not because i have to but because i want to! i always tell about it to good people, people i want to see in the community, people that will know to appreciate it n make this a better world.
n then when i get a mail from a friend or a person i introduced CS to or helped in a way related and he thank me n tell me how it worked out great for him i know i did good. this project gave me so much n now im just passing it on ...

Interests

MUSIC IS LIFE 4 ME! sometimes it amazes me to think how my taste in music is always evolving n changing. i always loved electronic music n used to listen to allot of drum n bass. now it completely changed n already a few years now i listen to trance. currently almost only goa trance ..its air ! its LOVE !
i also dig just whatever is good from radio head, blonde red head, beck, morcheeba, zero 7, doors, jonny cash, nick cave, air, deus, flaming lips, n some israeli music.
i enjoy parties very much especially open air ones. in this occasions i feel there is no ego around me n there i feel absolutely free.
kinda weird writing this as n interest but i love people- just meeting cool interesting people n do whatever with them is the best thing! u can always learn something from anyone u meet.
i love the outdoors. trekking, scenery, and just pure nature!!
i love sleeping, its actually more then love, much more..im a pig of sleeping ..PIG !!! i can sleep n sleep..its annoying sometimes but i accept it with love (like i have a choice).

well i talked about my music taste in the "interests" section..
movies:clssic horror . comedies(love parodies), n just whatever quality movies. my favorite movies are:clockwork orange, saturday night fever, the shining , taxi driver, friday the 13, it, charley and the choclate factory (the original), edward scissors...
although sometimes when u feel like just seeing something stupid n not think too much i can always go for some action big boobs brad pitt movie
