Hey! I'm Chris. I love learning new things about history, the outdoors, and reading fiction and science fiction. I am also trying to focus on writing as a hobby.

PHILOSOPHY

I like meeting people and seeking out ideas that stretch my understanding of the universe, from whatever end of the spectrum it may be. I try very hard to avoid preconceptions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I won't have much of a place for anyone to stay at until I get set back up in one place this fall, but until then please feel free to hit me up if you are looking for someone to pair up with while traveling. For anyone nice enough to meet up with me or give me a place to stay, thank you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been active on couchsurfing in several years, but hosted several people when I lived in Savannah, Georgia. I really enjoyed the experience of meeting new people and sharing memories for a part of their trip. I look forward to meeting many more people now that I have the time to travel.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: The Tree of Life, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Big Lebowski, Apocalypse Now, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Music: I am into any era of rock, and I listen to a lot of hip-hop (Kool Keith, Immortal Technique, Wu-Tang, Jeru) but The Dead Kennedys are my all time favorite band. I am also big into the Electric Six.

Books: My favorite book is probably VALIS by Philip K. Dick. You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers is fantastic for travelers to read.
