ABOUT ME

I love to be in the mountains, see great landscapes from above, breath that pure air, windy or quiet, listen to the sounds of the night in the wild, feel the cold and the hot of your effort walking...
I like not to be in a hurry, although I am in more than I would like it.
I would like to be travelling all of my life without having to go to work, but who does not?

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy as everyone, the point is that people do not agree what make them happy or what we think what may make us happy. So, surf your life! (and the secret maybe is share it)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Granollers, 30 km (40 minutes), from Barcelona. A quiet place but well comunicated with train (2 railway stations) and bus. I have got an Ikea's futton and an extra bed, besides the couch. I can pick you up from the railway station (15 minutes on foot), recommend some good places to visit, have lunch or dinner, tell you stories and listen to yours...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of people to swap English when I lived in Barcelona : I learnt a lot from English, American, Dutsch, Irish people and even from Zimbawe !!
And when I am in the mountains I like to exchange stories from other people where ever they may come from! Now I can say thanks to couchsurfung I have met really nice people who now are my friends!

Interests

I like playing my violin (although I am a begginer), listening to celtic, classical, rock and to all kinds of music.

I also enjoy being in the mountains, walking, hiking, or just being near nature: the air, the sounds, the smell...

I like reading, though I do not have a lot of time..., but there are some books you cannot stop reading until the very end, as Harry Potter's, yes I confess it.

I like taking pictures of the landscapes in the mountains. I have got thousands and thousands of them....

And of course, I like sharing all these hobbies with my friends, old ones or new ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Patagonia, Ireland, Africa, Himalaya, New Zealand, had a cat, changed of job, moved to other cities, met people from other cultures, climbed some mountains, seen amazing sunrises and sunsets in the mountains, met my nephews, read some amazing books, meet friends thanks to couchsurfing and I guess I shall see things that now I can not ever dream of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want, I can show you some interesting country places, or some in Barcelona too! We can swap recipes, I can cook a good spanish omelette, for instance.
I can play some songs with my violin, although I am not a skiller violonist, yet....

If you need it, I have some computer knowledge, because of my studies and job...
