About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun and make other people happy.

ABOUT ME

I love to speak spanish, to dance and to get to know new people! I live with three friends, I'm a vegetarian and I'm working as a teacher in swedish for young refugees.

I'm a social person who likes to get to know new people, but also to hang out with my old friends. Languages is a big interest, both to learn and to teach. Therefor I'm very happy to work as a language teacher!

I also like to dance and to learn new dances. Right now I'm trying salsa. Other dances I dance are swedish folcdance and "dirty foxtrot". I like dancehall and reggaeton also though.

Some people say I'm a very positive person, but that is only compared to other swedes! Traveling in South America I've discovered that swedes in general are rather depressed and not so talkative. If I would live in South America I would be a quiet and calm person, compared to them. For sure is that I really appreciate life and am very happy to be on this earth!

If you need a quick answer it's better to send me an sms: 0046730920884.

Me encanta hablar español, bailar y conocer a gente nueva! Vivo con dos amigas, soy vegeteriana y trabajo como profesora de sueco para refugiados jovenes.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to have fun and hope I can affect other people in a positive way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve been couchsurfing in Serbia, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Germany, France, Spain and Peru.
I would like to say that I've been hosting as much as I've been surfing but I haven't. Just a few times. It's because I've always lived with friends and they don't like new people as much as I do so I can't say yes all the time. And, mostly I have so much other plans when I'm at home. The few times I've hosted were really positive experiences though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have many nice couchsurfing experiences! One of them was when me and a friend were going by bike through Estonia and Latvia. In Estonia we were hosted by a really nice woman and her husband and got invited to her dad's birthdayparty. Even though we couldn't comunicate with her family we were so greatful to be there!
I'm very happy I've had the oportunity to travel with CS.

Interests

Human beings, politics (I'm very worried about many things that are happening in the world but I try not to think about it too much since it makes me depressed), learning new dances and languages. I climb some times too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reggae, dancehall, ska, swedish folkmusic, some popmusic and probably a lot of music that I haven´t heard yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a "peace observer" in Chiapas in Mexico. I was in an isolated village for one month and didn't speak so much spanish then, but nobody spoke english of course so I felt really lonely and frustrated -not only because of that. Eventually I learned to speak spanish and when I got back to the city I couldn't speak swedish any more. Even though it's not amazing in a positive way it's something I really remember. For some reason I remember hard moments better than wonderful moments, maybe because you learn more of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a swedish teacher so I could teach you swedish BUT, you'd have to stay more than two days I think.
I can also teach you swedish folkdance: polska, shottis, vals, hambo, you name it!
But we can also just share our experiences of life. I like a lot to talk about such things and with a person from another part of the world it's always interesting.
