About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sharing good experiences and making friends.

ABOUT ME

Free-thinking artist, retired, petite, loves nature and easy hikes now that I'm older, but I still get around maybe 5 miles level. I love trees, self-expression, old-fashioned courtesy. I pet-sit, and enjoy almost all animals. I like to eat good food, but not much into cooking -I'd rather wash dishes! I'm quiet, clean, can dress up and dress down.
I'm often in transit between Hawaii, California, and Las Vegas (I now live 70 miles away in the high desert); so I will not be able to host until I settle down a bit more. While I can, I will travel! When I'm older, I will host.

PHILOSOPHY

Peace and happiness for all. May we all realize and be happy with the blessings we all have, and share them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and pet-sit; I like people, and like to share stories. Also, I'm considerate, very clean, quiet, and value my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've unofficially couchsurfed a LOT with people I've known from College, in Santa Cruz where couchsurfing officially started because so many surfers were staying on their friends' couches!
I think couch-surfing is a great way to meet other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic books, various types of music (especially acoustic), foreign films, biographies, romance and comedies in movies are what I enjoy most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trips to India, and my travels in Morocco.
Also, my very first cross-country hitch-hiking trip in 1972, when I was 17.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of reading music and classical piano; I would love to learn more Tango dancing; and I love sharing interpretations (and creations) of art-like things.
