ABOUT COUCHSURFING:
THE GOOD DAYS OF COUCHSURFING ARE GONE AND I HAVE LOTS OF GOOD MEMORIES ABOUT COUCHSURFERS AND EVENTS, BUT CS-LEADERS DON´T UNDERSTAND THAT QUANTITY ISN´T QUALITY
In case they (the LT leadership-team) change something on the website, they change it ALWAYS in a bad way!
Just a few examples from the past (many people don´t know it)
-they removed the nice chat-rooms
-they deleted the big city-groups
-the deleted the ambassador structure (global-ambs, country-ambs, city-ambs)
-they change the Terms of Use (ToU) without informing the members on 14.August 2012, 03.June 2013 and again 18.November 2014
-they transferred CS in a C$ because they were not able to keep the 501(c)3-status
-they got a lot of money and they wasted it with the big help of CEO TONY ESPINOZA
-AND NOW THEY TRANSFERRED THE CS-SITE INTO SUCH AN AWFUL WEBSITE AND LOTS OF DATAS AND WORK WITH HTML-CODES BY THE USERS WERE DELETED FOREVER

Type in ´Couchsurfing´ for ´Organization Name´ and the ´Fiscal Year´ you´re interested in (only 2006,2007 and 2008 is working).

-HOUSE IS A NON SMOKING AREA AND DON`T THROW YOUR CIGARETTES IN THE ENVIRONMENT

-I CAN OFFER TOWELS AND BLANKETS.

-YOU CAN USE LAN IF YOU HAVE A LAPTOP WITH YOU.

I want to be sure that you understand these points. So write in your couchrequest why you want to surf my couch.
Due to some experiences in the past I have to make these house- and couchrules.

VERY IMPORTANT !!!
Be aware if you are a feeloader or you let me feel you just use me and my hospitality I will kick you out of my house even at night!

MY CITY HAMELN

Hameln is a small city of 60.000 inhabitants and famous for the pied-piper.
My home is in a short walking-distance (10min) from the center of the town. Public transportation very near, but expensive and slow. If Couchsurfers are interested I can show and explain the town and surroundings.
The area is perfect to go aroung with bicycles and motorbikes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY I´M ON COUCHSURFING?
SINCE THE LAST BIG AND STUPID CHANGE OF THE WEBSITE I ASK MYSELF SEVERAL TIMES THE SAME QUESTION...

But as a former CS-amb I host, surf, organize and take part in many events.

I´m also a moderator of several CS-groups and organized three CS-motorcycle-invasions for CS-Motorcycle-Riders in Germany.

Interests

Meeting nice and interesting people for talking and having fun, riding my Ducatis, race- and mountainbike,
travelling with my bicycle in the mountains or at the coast in foreign countries with my tent, sleeping-bag etc
My work also, but sometimes not on Monday morning...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling from San Fracisco to the Mexicam Border, the Route 66, around Korsika, Sicily AND around Italy from Finale Ligure to Cesenatico were my greatest trips.

Visiting the World Ducati Week 2007 with Lars (R.I.P.) and going around with my 996 was very interesting.

There are lots of amazing things to see every day, but when you are all day long in a hurry it´s not possible to realize....
