ABOUT ME

Born with a free spirit and a travel bug in my blod, multicultural home with the best of bolth worlds, my father draged me around the Yucatan growing up. Spent summers in the US and lived in Mexico till I was 25. Started leading Kayaking and biking trips to Cenotes, caves, archeological sites and Maya Villages 18 years ago and worked for a world wide active travel company from 2004 to 2008. Currently I´m living in Playa del Carmen and guiding eco and adventure tours since Jan 08 and Loving it. Eventually I want to start my own company.
Im easy going, enthusiastic about new experiences, love good food and good conversation, have a wide range of interests and love to learn from others and share what litte I can of home.
Have guided in Alaska,San Juan Islands,Oregon,California, Costa Rica, Yellowstone, Portugal. Went to Slovakia,Poland,Italy in 06, In 08 Spain & Thailand. I'm in love with wine and have worked 3 wine seasons.

PHILOSOPHY

Be considerate, honest and kind to others and to your self, work hard, play, dream, have fun, be spontaneous, make enriching connections, accept life as it comes, be present and ready to discern the good from the bad, learn, grow, laugh at life, value the little things that sweeten every day and strive to be real to yourself. The rest of the lessons we will learn along the journey, and as the song goes.
"Caminante no hay camino, se hace camino al andar"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked & rowed for days along deserted beaches and Garifuna comunities in the Honduran Miskitia. No roads or electicity there. participated in the december festivities, with allnight drumming and dancing and partying, huge enenergy from all the youth, men and distant family memebers returning home from months away. Helped with traditional fishing and stayed with an adopted family there. A life changing experience.
