ABOUT ME

Married since 2006 and we spent the first 5 years of our life together in Okinawa, Japan.
We left the beautiful island of Okinawa August 2013 in search of a new adventure: to travel with no specific plans about time or destination. So far, we hitchhiked around Japan, spent 3 months in Hawaii doing work trade. We spent 8 months in Tahiti learning dancing and drumming and performing with a local group at the HEIVA festival (incredible island experince). Then we crewed on a sailboat from Tahiti through the Society Islands, Cook Islands, Niue and Tonga to NZ. We spent 3 months in NZ working on boats and traveling and then flew to Australia. So far, so good :) !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

enthusiastically :D we hosted in Hungary and in Okinawa, we surfed couches in Europe, Asia and America. We found lifetime friends via the CS community in Okinawa. Over the years CS has become an essential part of our life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

great encounters, great people, great memories!!! over the years CS has become part of our everyday life. the stories we heard from travelers surfing our couches helped us dream our dream and the people who have been kind to us and opened their homes in other countries reassured us that the world can still be a good place.
