ABOUT ME

All information about my early years is full of hear-say and lacks any non-refutable sources. In the recent past I did some awesome stuff, In the future, there'll be more. Near the end of my life, I'll pass away in some awesome way (no details yet, but it will probably involve an explosion and a nemesis).

Here are a few more titles that nefarious characters have bestowed upon me:

Part Time Scholar. Manipulator of Time and Space. Healer of the Sick. Courter of Women. Defender of Orphans. Soldier of Fortune. Singer of Songs and Ballads. Casual Hero. Space Traveler. Accomplisher of the difficult immediately, the impossible takes a little longer. Personal Friend of God. All around good guy who makes things happen. But I still put my pants on one leg at a time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed all around Europe and also when I was moving across country. Since I moved into my new house in Denver I have had someone sleeping on one of my couches pretty much every night. I have had nothing but stellar experiences and I've met so many amazing people that keep the travel spark alive in me!

I also enjoy hosting and attending various CS events and parties. I would now say that the majority of my good friends are couch surfers!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rolling Stones, Mumford and Sons, Joe Purdy, Led Zepplin, Hackensaw Boys, Ray Lamontagne, Kings of Leon, Hank Williams Jr., Paul Simon, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dispatch, Bob Seger, James Brown, Counting Crows, Bob Marley... and a lot more bluegrass, funk and folk.

TV: Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Eastbound and Down, King of the Hill, The Office, Seinfeld, Jeopardy, The History Channel, Cops, ... I try not to watch too much TV though. Turn on the boob tube I'm in the need to obey.

Movies: Office Space, The Graduate, Harold and Maude, Half Baked, Cool Hand Luke, Garden State, Lord of The Rings, The Motorcycle Diaries. Pretty much anything that isn't generic and conjures up human emotions.

Books: I like the classics: Walden Pond, Catcher in the Rye, On the Road, Lolita, The Sun Also Rises, The Stand, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Ender's Game. Any book I can't put down is a good one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gave away most of my worldly possesions and then packed up what was left in my old Volvo and spontaneously moved across country to Denver...never having been here before and knowing only one person. Its easier than you think!
