ABOUT ME

I've loved traveling since I was one year old, when my parents took me to England to meet that half of the family and pet a sheep. Since then, I've been to lots of places in Europe and the U.S., and I can't wait to explore the rest of the vast world.

I read, laugh, and sing a lot, and I enjoy hanging out with people who do the same. I am an editor in London.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted several excellent people from different parts of the world, and I've couchsurfed in Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. I spent ~18 months traveling around the world, meeting CSers along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great surfing experiences on the other side of the world from the States.

I read all the time. I love books by Roald Dahl, Virginia Woolf, Ann Patchett, Ursula K. LeGuin, Shakespeare, Sherman Alexie, and Kazuo Ishiguro.

I'm also listening to music whenever possible. Currently enjoying Yeasayer, Girlyman, TV On the Radio, jj, The New Pornographers, Pixies, Joni Mitchell, Wolf Parade, David Bowie, Patty Griffin, The Replacements, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I listened to Barack Obama give his victory speech in person in 2008.

I've seen the sun set over the Grand Canyon and rise over Lake Michigan.

I've taken a hot air balloon ride in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

I've danced til six in the morning in London.

I've held my baby cousin in the crook of my arm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to do a mean proofread or chocolate chip cookie.

I'd love to learn how to cook new recipes, sing new songs, and dance new dances. Or whatever you have to share!
