Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION

"la vida es como estar en un programa de AA, hay que vivir un día a la vez :)"

ABOUT ME

My name is Rafael Lopez Martinez, I'm a mountaineer-climber :D, in my free time I'm a mathematician-biologist who teaches mathematics and programming subjects at science school at UNAM and loves it! I used to be extensive in this part but honestly, to talk about myself could be really subjective and even if I know that I'm not such a bad person why would you trust me? jeje so lets just say: I love the honesty in people, I think that the congruence between the thinking and feelings and the actions and words could be supergreat in a person, I love the outdoors, even in this great city where I live I know that I have a mountain/beach/desert/jungle heart!!!
If you want to meet me lets make some rock climbing!!!, some hiking, why not, juggling, chatting, playing with boxes, making gardens, cooking, who knows, the only thing certain is that we can make some long walkings through some of the spots that makes me feel alive, even inside this big city!

PHILOSOPHY

un día a la vez...:), un jour par fois, egun bat...(barkatu lagun euskaldunak ni esukaldun berria naiz), one day at the time

Musica, film e libri

Movies: any movie that the rest of my family doesn't like jejeje, mostly rare, humorous and freakie art cinema :). Today, I've just watched Agora, highly recommended it!
Books: mmm Michael Crichton (ufff), Le petit prince, El Converso (the best story about friendship), Into the Wild (the best story about freedom), El amor en los tiempos del cólera (the best story about love), El médico, Principia Matematica, History of time... Saramago (el puto amo!!! jaja)
Music: Reggae, jazz, funk, rock, classic, metal, salsa, bachata, son jarocho, rock quebecois, folk, ethnic, freaky :P ex: Animal Collective, Emancipator, Macaco, Manu Chao, Les cowboys fringants, Tryo, Bob Marley, Sabina (uuu), Albert Pla, Miles Davies... a lot, when you come you can hear a little.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

uuuuuuuuuuuu my life has been changing a lot, I don't know mmmmmm:
a sunrise at Iztaccihuatl while I was climbing it (mexican volcano), reggae music in Mazunte, dry leafs at el Chico National Park, temazcal at San Cristobal (Chiapas), Sumidero Canyon (uuuuuuuuuuuu what a walls!!!), Palenque (yea just beautiful), dancing at Ollin Kan music festival with my friends, every sunset in my University (uuuuu UNAM, I love it), every clear night when I'm returning home in my bike after classes, being able to ride my bike in one of the craziest cities of the world jajajaja, just life, to live life, to achieve goals, to walk, mmmmmmmm... All the other single moments of my life when a smile or an emotion comes to my face or my heart, this point is always getting increased.
PS. I almost forget it... watching cirque du soleil two times completely free!!!, hearing Stevie Wonder completely free!!!, almost eating dog in Montreal with a gang of circus people (I ran away when I realize that they were actually going to eat it!!, nothing personal is just that the dog was just a puppy and I'm too sensitive to do that)
PS2. To argue with a howler monkey in Yaxchilán. To watch from the top of the 4th temple while a storm was approaching and wait for it. Two sunsets and the full moon over the lake of Petén Itza :).
PS3 To live the life...
PS3 (BIS) Sahara desert night sky, the blue and the red between the mountains of Tafrout (Morocco), the calm in Menara gardens, the tranquility in the Pays Basque...
PS4 Climbing, climbing, hiking, mountaineering, climbing... aaaa, I love to be out there in the cold, could be Izaccihuatl, Citlaltepetl, Pan de Azúcar, Kilimanjaro, Ajusco... whatever, every mountain has its soul and I think that every mountain can teach you how to... maybe how to live life? jejejeje I'm just obssesed about

Insegna, impara, condividi

We can go and do some hiking-climbing (yes, even that you don't belive it in Mx we have several options for that!!!), I can teach a little bit of biology, I love physiques and mathematics too, philosophy of science, my philosophy of life jajaja, I'm a pretty descent slackliner and I think I'm a good teacher, I know my city pretty well and some places of my whole country, I know how to make bracelets of different styles, to juggle with balls and any other object that you can throw, I also cook in a descent way, dance a little bit of cumbia, salsa, quebradita and banda ;), play with the diavolo also known as chinese yoyo... I don't know what else jeje if you want and if it is not too disgusting for you, I can teach you how to spit with a perfect balance of power and accuracy jejeje.
About learning, pretty much anything you want to share, but I would love to know how to make a bike jump, jejeje I don't know what to write here, I do have interests but if you are interested in sharing then I think I could receive what you want to share jeje.
