About Me

Hey everyone.

I'm a freelance journalist and editor, working primarily in science and politics (and trying to make it sound more interesting that it does when you say it like that).

CURRENT MISSION:

I'm about to move to New Zealand and I'm looking for a fun, communal house with lovely people.

My partner and I will be leaving an amazing sharehouse in Adelaide, that we both set up. We'd like to keep up the spirit of living with sharing, generous people that like to cook communally, and hang-out together.

You can my partner, Lily's, profile at: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/340758

Working as a journalist, it would be great to live in a creative and active house and I'd be an active part of it. I also like to bake, which I think is a great character trait in people.

MORE ABOUT ME:

Born in Melbourne. I travelled for a couple of years, and lived in places like Edinburgh and Malta. Following that I lived in Adelaide for about 5 years, living with wonderful people

I've volunteered for charities like Amnesty and the Red Cross, have worked on a plethora of personal projects - like visiting 30 of Europe's most bizarre festivals in 2014, producing choose-your-own-adventures for a digital story-telling app etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my experience of Couchsurfing, it does make the world a better and happier place and I've made a lot of great friends through it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in many places across Europe and we have been hosting in Adelaide for over 5 years. We have only had good experiences :)
