ABOUT ME

"I am what I am and it will change trough the time cause we are the result of our circumstances, mixed with our perception and what we do out of them, so..."
I wrote that a couple of years ago and yes: i've been changing, getting nearer to myself, feeling more comfortable on my own skin, mind, perception. I am PROCESSing

PHILOSOPHY

We are here to enjoy it, learn and help others enjoy - this often means a change in perspective - which I currently believe to be best achieved trough art (not fancy art - contextual art, "art" that defies, infuriates, mocks, questions, laughs at/with, etc the status quo of things/concepts - to ultimately open everyone's minds to accept what needs to be accepted and change what they don't like...knowing life is just a dream we can manipulate to enjoy - especially by helping others realise this too).

Right now I'm in Istanbul for my term abroad. I'd love to get to know this city with other Couchsurfer!

I met this awesome girl from Greece in Muenster and she showed me the wazs of the couch surfer! :P

Interests

Too many things...to name a few: Horse and Bike Riding, Japan, Art, Philosophy, Technology, Languages and Cultures, Human Psyche in relation to the outside world. I believe everything is linked and is part of a whole, so there's no subject that cannot be fun, provided you look at it from the "right" perspective to you.
Right now i am very interested in the turkish language and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many...i think things (books, movies, etc) choose you. The last book that chose me was "born on a blue day" by Daniel Tammet (loved it!). The last "music" i've been listening to would be some mexican styles(huapangos, rancheras, nortec).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I woke up after an awesome dream with a smile on my face and had nothing to worry about and a lot of things to be thankful for.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some spanish, english, german or very basic japanese. I can manage some software programs (Photoshop and the like, Office and the like, MaxMSP, Java, ImageJ,...) and some hardware (Arduino, Sensors...).
I have an acceptable collection of Anime (some Mangas) and some knowledge of it.
I'm currently into stones (and their effect on people) and horse riding (taking lessons, reading some books).
I'd love to learn more japanese and more about nature.
