ABOUT ME

I like to meet new people and I enjoy it even more if they are different from me.
For my work I have traveled all over Italy and I have met a lot of different types of Italian people and now I'm ready for the world!
I work as a business consultant and additionally work with various businesses helping to certify them according to ISO 9001 standards.

PHILOSOPHY

As John Lennon says, "Life is what happens to you when you are planning something else."
I think it is not so important where you are going, but how you get there.
So I really think that every person and every experience, even you when you don't expect it, can be a gift. But the most difficult thing is to recognize it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met my friend Gianpaolo while I was working in Bologna, seven years ago. Last winter, he told me about the Couch Surfing Association and he brought me to one of the meetings in Bologna.
Last June, I happened to call Gianpaolo and told him I was planning a vacation to NYC. He said to me "Really? I'd like to come too! Why don't we try this new experence with CS?"
The host in NYC was an Argentinian girl. She'd never met us before, but she left us the keys to her apartment. So strange for me, but true!
We were in her house for one week all alone while she was working in SF. When she came back, we shared the apartment for one more week and we became friends.
I hope I will host her when she comes to Italy!
I have also meet a lot of people, the NYC group is so active.
This is the most beautiful way to travel, live with a New Yorker in NYC and with anyone in their hometown, all over the world! This way you'll never be a tourist!

Intereses

I like traveling, swimming, listening to jazz music and all kinds of live music. But what I really like to do is read all kinds of books, but especially books that explore the character psychology.
I think that traveling and reading are two ways I can find myself by experiencing different things.
