ABOUT ME

My study keeps distracting me from my travel. I love music (see below), and psychology. I'm too polite to brainwash guests. I enjoy an intellectual discussion and idiotic humour. I have a mild peter-pan complex. I'm collecting philosophies from different people the world over.

PHILOSOPHY

My life, my mind, it's always changing. I can't summarise my philosophy in one line, because the next day it will be different. Don't fight change, lead it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Active since 2007.
Hosting: one weekend I hosted 2 gay Austrians and a gang of 10 hitchiking from Denmark - a busy house!
Guesting: my 3 day visit of Marburg turned into many months on the floor of the single bed dorms of what are now a good friends of mine.

Like your thermal underpants, I will fit into whatever situation it is you have for me, warming your life when you want it to, and going unnoticed when you're preoccupied. Hurmmnn... :-P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed between September 2007 and January 2008: Amsterdam, Lyon, Geneva, Basel, Freiburg and Vienna.

Hosted not much in my many different sharehouses, February 2008-December 2010.

In 2011 CS meet-ups in Bangkok, and more surfing in Lyon, cote d'Azûr, Firenze, Marburg (a long stay here!), Jena, Berlin. Christmas CS party in Krakow 2012, then meetups in Kuala Lumpur. CS Christmas party Prague 2013. Gdańsk and Брэст in 2014.

And I love it all! You know who you are. Thanks a bunch guys! You're all welcome to visit (not at the same time).

Interests

People, music, history, science, fine arts, ideas, and am learning about literature.

Trekking, rock-climbing, music gigs, (traveling!), conversation, laser skirmish.

My interests have no end (almost).

Music, Movies, and Books

Grew up on rock/metal and classical music, and then evolved. Stuff I've recently gotten into (again?), for example: The Dresden Dolls, Tchaikovsky, gypsy/klezmer music, The Knife, Chopin, Blondie, Townes Van Zandt, Huun Huur Tu, Rammstein, etc etc.

For movies and books, if we're talking about the movie/book for a long time afterward (about how good OR how bad it was) - this is a good sign.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born. I don't remember it, but I did it. A pretty amazing thing to do, I reckon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can introduce you to a lot of Australian music; no matter what your taste in music, I'll find something for you. I'm always looking to trade creative skills, ideas, philosophies.

Learning never ends - I'm interested in too many things for one brain to handle, so anything you want to teach, go for it!
