ABOUT ME

Hrvoje:
I'm electrical engineer working in telecommunication company. Beside this daily job I'm prusite of building croatian crowdfunding platform. I like to spend time on education (phD), friends and traveling.
Iva:
I have a degree in sociology and history and looking and working in sales. I highly enjoy traveling, and therefore I have a mission to be convinced that flying is not that big of a deal :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hrvoje:
What best describes me is that my glass is always half full, if not full to the top. I could also say that my philosophy is Seinfeld one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to provide things to fellow travelers which we would appreciate on our travelings. Offering not only accommodation but domestic cosy feeling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both (surfing and hosting) of our CS experience has been unique. Getting some cool in pool in Aleppo, learning Chinese in Beijing as well as showing Zagreb to city-breakers and packing sandwiches for hitchhikers.

Interests

Hrvoje:
I'm interested in technical science as well as social science. More importantly I have biggest interest in tools for building social capital. I'm somewhat involved in Croatian startup community and leading a project of first Croatian crowdfunding platform called Doniralica.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hrvoje:
I've seen young people taking shitty jobs just to survive, Chinese infants taking a dump on the street through crack in their pants, amazing landscapes contrast and textures across small territory.
I've climbed up and down on mount Hua Shan in China in one day (although everybody in hostel said it's impossible) and most
important I've meet wonderful girl back in '98 :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hrvoje can teach you how to patch a bike tire, disassemble spikes and nipples from the rim and hub, clean and grease ball barrings and tighten all screws on your old bike.
We can also share our CouchSurfing bike which we assembled specially for our CSers
