HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, attending meetings, organizing meetings, sharing, helping,....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in milano, sibiu, zurich, nitra, munich, peniche, edinburgh, london prague, berlin and in the dominican republic. Every single experience has been awesome!

I like hosting people. i stopped counting but it's been more than 500...
Update: Acoording to this article I hosted 1000 ;) http://www.heute.at/news/oesterreich/wien/art23652,680920

I also join cs meetings in vienna or just meet for dinner or going out with other cs members and it's always a lot of fun!

Interests

I love doing sports ..that's why i do it at least 4 days a week (most of the time football) and on weekends i have games. (if you want to see some of my football skills go to http://youtube.com/watch?v=fXY_3l7ukHk )
but although i play football i'm not that interested in other football teams. i like to watch games but don't ask me for a single player from the austrian national team :)
in the winter i love to go snowboarding, in the summer surfing, wakeboarding or playing beach volleyball.
generally i`d like to try all kinds of sports.
orienteering is one of my new favourite sports...

And recently i got addicted to american football! we are meeting every sunday to play flag football in the park and watch nfl afterwards :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Chilly Gonzales, 3 Feet Smaller, Mono&Nikitaman, Shantel, Flogging Molly, Ska-P,...

there is so much good music in this world. but most of the time i listen to reagge, ragga dancehall or rock (punk rock, alternative, irish punk rock). that doesn't mean i don't listen to other music! i also love music from the 60's or 70's like beatles, led zeppelin, bob dylan,etc....

At the moment i'm really into "Liedermaching"! Easy guitar music with really funny german lyrics.
(Joint Venture, Götz Widmann, Christoph & Lollo, Funny Van Dannen,...)

I love live music so I go to every concert possible, somtetimes from bands i've never even heard before or artists I don't even like :)
so if you know about a good band coming to vienna (or a bad band with a cool live show) tell me!

there is something good from almost every style of music!

I just started a playlist on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=rattenkoenig&view=playlists
it's not complete but consists of some of my favourite songs.

movies...mhm...This Is Spinal Tap, Amelie, Donnie Darko, Seven Pounds, Wag The Dog and many more

books: All books by Ken Follett!!!
story of stuff, one trillion dollar, a short history of nearly everything, his dark materials, harry potter,...
