About Me

CURRENT MISSION

destroy capitalism

ABOUT ME

i want to learn as much as i can.

'Wo meine Redlichkeit aufhört, bin ich blind und will auch blind sein. Wo ich aber wissen will, will ich auch redlich sein.
where my honesty ends, i am blind, and want to be blind. where i want to know, however, there i want also to be honest' - nietzsche

***important***

i hate to have to say this in my profile because it makes me sound jaded and lame, but it seems that some people are confused about the purpose of couchsurfing.

take it from someone who has sent out many, many, many requests: you are much, much more likely to get a couch if you tell the host why you would like to stay on his or her couch as opposed to someone else, to show them that you have something in common. couchsurfing is about sharing and developing friendships,

please take the time to write something personal in your request.

copy/paste requests that have no personal information or shared interests will not be considered.

i actually 'work' with a couple other kids, jan, kwjet and faith, and i guess technically you could say that we are professional slackliners, but it doesn't pay much...

PHILOSOPHY

no one gets anywhere without being embarrassed once in a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we are indebted to the universe.
i want nothing more than to put positive energy into the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

everyone who has hosted me has been amazing.
i am trying to share the wonderful experiences that i have been given with others. i take this idea of sharing what we have very seriously, it is simply misguided for us to keep things all to ourselves.

Interests

music (listening and playing, improvisation is my heart, but i can lose days listening as well)
wandering, wondering, writing, climbing,
slacklining/highlining, being, exploring...

my next goal is to make an all-human-powered circumnavigation of the globe, that is, to circle the earth with nothing but your own body and will.
its impossible for me to say definitively whether certain experiences are more valuable than others, it's all just hearsay anyway.
