About Me

CURRENT MISSION

As I am back home... my current mission is to survive till I get the chance for a next longer trip!

ABOUT ME

What can I say... I am an outgoing, open-minded, friendly and positive thinking man. I love meeting up new people from all over the world to talk about everything.

I love good food, wine and somone to share these things for some interesting conversations. Besides my job I am a DJ and I am as well involved in different clubs (e.g. together with a bunch of friends we run our own Football Club, organising a bandcontest to help new startup bands)

If you want to know more or have a trip to Switzerland just contact me...

Cheers
Nick

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not here to reach all your dreams, it is to have dreams...

During a lunch at home I found a funny little sugar"beutel" and on it it was written:

We have learned how to fly like a bird, to swim like a fish. But we never learned the easy thing to live like brothers! (Martin Luther King) - it might sound a little bit stupid and simple but I think this is quite true if you have a look at the world... which is indeed very sad!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I signed to CS it was because of my trip to the states. After having so many positive experiences with the CS project I hope that as soon as I will be back in Switzerland I can give something back and host some people who wants to come to my country...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far they where great! Unfortunately I haven't had so many because in the end it turned out that I have so many connections through friends in the states that more or less at all my destinantion I could go to someones place. But the few experiences (even though they where just for a coffe or a great time at the beach) were great! Thank's for this awsome project... good job!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably a lot of people would wright something like Bungee-Jumping, Ski-Diving or something similar but one of my best experiences so far was when I stayed in the Tessin (southern part in Switzerland) with a bunch of friends. On the way back to the house we decided to walk up the small river which comes from the top of the mountain. So first of all it was freezing cold but as this rough river has a lot of smaller waterfalls you had to climb and be very carefull. So to pass some of these waterfalls we had to help each other otherwise we would have fallen (not deep but perhaps on some rocks so not that scareless) and this was a really nice experience, you really had to trust each other! After such experiences I think you are even closer with your friends...

Teach, Learn, Share

What could I teach you... probably I know a lot about different countries and different mentalities so perhaps I can share this knowledge with you and you have something to take at home with you. What else? Some other languages, how to cook a great desert (desert are my speciality).
What do I want to learn... of course more of the different cultures and as I am learning how to play the guitar, perhaps you can show me some new things...
