About Me

I am Russian journalist and environmentalist living between Moscow and Istanbul.
In Russia I have been organizing ECOCUP International Green Documentary Film Festival for past 10 years. It takes place in Moscow and then travels to the city across Russia and some of CIS-countries (Ukraine, Belorussia, Georgia, Kazakhstan). I often travel to similar festivals around the world with Green Film Network. So it is easy to say that eco-doc world and all the people in it who wants to save the world from climate catastrophe have been pretty much my life. And I am so grateful for this.

Otherwise I am free-lance journalist based in Turkey because of this guy :)

Music, Movies, and Books

2 films that influenced me deeply, and which i've seen numerous times
Amadeus by Milos Forman
and The Dreamers by Bertolucci

All the rest are documentaries I watch for work and do my best to show to as much people as possible :)

I am a book worm (thank you, Russian reading culture) and I read A LOT. Especially contemporary non-fiction. So in reading field I moved much more forward than in Music, where I just stuck somewhere in 80th and don't really know what happened after.

Countries I’ve Visited
