About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Live To Learn To Love and Love myself + Be Safe + Be Happy,+ do the right thing

ABOUT ME

Please read my profile before sending me couch request. Please call me Samantha (or Sam) when you request my couch. Any mail or request without writing my name and password (in my couch information) will be ignored and rejected.

I love cycling, running, hiking ... most the outdoors in the nature. I have passion about life and would like to learn and share with others.

PHILOSOPHY

You don't like everyone, not everyone like you too.

Treat everyone as you would like to be treated.

There is nothing good or bad in life, it is all about choices..., so choose wisely.

There are two dominant energies in life, Love and Fear. Love overcomes all, stay out of fear. There is nothing to fear, it only bring chaos.

Love your body. It knows what you think. From your emotions spring health or illness. Send yourself positive thoughts all the time.

Much of your growth as a person will come through hardship and challenges. Embrace those and know you will be better, stronger and wiser because of them.

Don't believe all your hear and don't say all you think.

Life is all about energy, try to feel it around you, through you and in you. Distinguish the positive from the negative.

Nurture and maintain your relationship with your family and friends.

Live more in your heart and less in your head.

You have the right to be happy.

Do one thing at a time and do it well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

when I went backpack traveling in Europe ... there are few hosts who I have stayed with in France and Italy... I cooked for them to show my appreciation. Fast forward to 2007, when I ventured to Hokkaido for an 11-day bicycle and camping tour. I spent the first night with a local couple, who suggested I make various changes to my planned itinerary. This put me on routes rarely traveled by most travelers and helped give me a better taste of authentic Hokkaido culture and customs. Once when I was soaking wet in the cold rain, unable to find my hostel and on the verge of succumbing to hypothermia, a local rescued me, and took me to a hot springs bath and fed me hot noodles, even helping arrange accommodations for the night. It is encounters like this that give me faith in people and enrich my travels and give them so much more meaning than just touring the sites in unfamiliar places.

Interests

Love most outdoors activity cycling, running and hiking ... it make me close to the nature. sweating breathing make me feel I am alive. Enjoy hangout with friends who is sharing and inspiring and keep me moving.
Enjoy almost every kind of music but still learning how to appreciate metal music.
