Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am the very youngest 67 year old you will ever meet. (smile) By that I mean, one must not judge a person by the number of years he has be on this earth but by the excitement he has for living. We love to travel, love to exchange ideas with others, both old and young, and we still have much to learn. Building a better world through communication is one way to help to work for Peace through out this world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couch surfing experience yet, but we are very into travel, and we have a small private bedroom with a private bath available for surfers. A few years ago, before Couch Surfing, we did travel Europe, staying in Youth Hostels, and found that to be a wonderful way to meet like minded people and make life long friends.

Interests

I am a pianist. Wife is involved in a cat rescue organization. Music, Sociology, Languages, Culture, Education, History, Story-telling, Singing around the piano. Geography. Hearing the plans that young people have for making the world a better place than our generation has.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my late forties, I put a back pack on my back and back-packed around France, meeting all types of wonderful people, making new friends, and surprising even myself with the learning I had yet to accomplish! Now I know that it is never FINISHED!
